As we look ahead to the new year, the team at Spruce Island Development Corporation Alaska (SIDCO) has some thrilling news to share! In 2025, we will be launching a series of raffles to help bring our vision for a one-of-a-kind connectivity center to life.
For those unfamiliar, SIDCO is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting the health, well-being, education, economics, and cultural preservation of Ouzinkie Alaska Native community. After months of planning and development, we're closer than ever to breaking ground on an incredible new facility that will serve as the beating heart of our mission.
This connectivity center will be a hub for all things health, wellness, education, economics, and cultural enrichment. Designed with sustainable, energy-efficient principles, the building will house state-of-the-art fitness amenities, inclusive learning spaces, a multi-purpose performance hall, and more.
But making a project of this magnitude a reality requires significant resources. That's where our upcoming raffles come into play.
Thanks to our Alaska gaming permit (#170302), we will offer the chance to win truly remarkable prizes – we’re working on that, and the prizes will be fantastic! And the best part? Every raffle entry will directly support the SIDCO mission of bringing health, wellness, culture, and education.
Our team is working hard to finalize all the exciting details, but we can share that the first raffle will launch in early 2025. Alaskans and beyond will have the opportunity to purchase tickets and be entered to win these incredible prizes, all while making a meaningful contribution to the future of our community.
