The community of Ouzinkie is embracing raffles as a creative and engaging way to support the development of their new Cultural Community Connectivity Center. By organizing regular raffles, they not only raise essential funds but also foster a sense of unity and excitement among residents. Each raffle will feature quarterly Split the Pot, donated art, and other future great prizes, creating unique experiences that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Ouzinkie. Moreover, the online raffles serve as a platform for community members to come together virtually and celebrate their collective identity. Through these raffles, Ouzinkie is not just building a physical space but also nurturing a deeper connection among its residents, ensuring that the Cultural Community Connectivity Center becomes a true reflection of their shared values and aspirations. The community is actively seeking donors willing to provide anything from art to ATVs and other prizes, adding variety and excitement to each raffle event.

The Spruce Island Development Corporation will host a quarterly online "Split the Pot" Raffle to benefit the culture and community of Ouzinkie, including the Community Connectivity Center, Dancers, Artists, and youth. Raffle entries may be purchased online from the time the raffle starts through the end of the 2 - 3 months. Fans can purchase entries at:

Fans may purchase:

1 entry for $2,

10 entries for $10,

25 entries for $20, 

75 entries for $50.and

200 entries for $100

Entry sales are online only.

Split the Pot is held Quarterly.

The winning number, determined through a random drawing, is emailed immediately and posted online at www.SIDCOAlaska.org/raffles after each quarter. One lucky winner receives half the gross proceeds from that quarter’s raffle sales. The designated charity, SIDCO Alaska, will receive the remaining funds. Purchasing raffle entries gives folks the chance to win money and build a sustainable infrastructure for Ouzinkie, Alaska.
